With nearly 40 years of experience in Asia, Olivier Monange is a preeminent legal expert and arbitrator who pioneered the French legal presence in China by opening the first French law firm there in 1986. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of the French Chamber of Commerce in China and driving the international expansion of the DS firm across Singapore, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia. Based in Singapore since 2014, he has evolved into a leading authority on foreign direct investment and international arbitration, listed on arbitrator panels of institutions including the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, SHIAC, and BIAC, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb).
